Yield potential of modern soybean cultivars under high and low input levels

Abstract The objective of this work was to evaluate the grain yield potential modern soybean (Glycine max) cultivars subjected high- and low-input management levels on different sowing dates, in southwestern region state Paraná, Brazil. experiment carried out 2017/2018 2018/2019 crop seasons municipality Itapejara D’Oeste. Five (BMX Zeus IPRO, BMX Ativa RR, Lança NS 5445 NA 5909 RG) were evaluated four environments formed by combination input (high low) dates (first second). experimental design a randomized complete block with three replicates. traits were: (kg ha-1), R5 phenological stage; ha-1) its components, R8 stage. Cultivar, date, are determinant for maximizing potential. In first October, IPRO cultivar shows better response high level management, higher stage (19,682 kg (8,248 whereas RG best results low management.
